LORENTZ is an easy-to-use solver for analyzing charged particle trajectories in the presence of electric and magnetic fields. Applications include: multipaction ion mobility spectroscopy (IMS) photomultiplier tubes paint sprayers electron guns microchannel plates beam lines X-ray tubes electron microscopes ion traps ion mass spectrometers time of flight Fast and accurate, LORENTZ calculates full secondary emissions, emittance, spot size and radius. Our powerful parametric solvers allow designers to automatically vary and experiment with geometry, materials and sources – reducing the tedious, repetitive task of fine–tuning multiple design parameters.
