Design Expert

Design-Expert(R)  is an advanced DOE software package that easily handles entry-level screening experiments for detecting vital effects and interactions, plus response surface methods for optimizing processes and/or mixtures. It includes all of Design-Ease(R) software’s features, plus many more, and is intuitive enough for beginners to use, yet powerful enough for statisticians. Design-Expert produces full-color graduated or banded 3D rotatable and contour graphs. Data points protruding from surfaces on 3D graphs show where actual responses were collected. With the numerical search capability you can find maximum desirability for dozens of responses simultaneously. A design option creates full-factorials or D-optimal subsets for multilevel categorical factors. Special features for mixtures are included such as mixture-in-mixture designs for sophisticated experiments involving separate formulations that may interact, and the ability to add blocks D-optimally. In addition, Design-Expert’s unique tools for generating and graphing propagation of error (POE) help experimenters achieve six sigma objectives for reducing variation.
